In 1976, Frank Davis brought the Strictly N'Awlins style to WWL Radio for its first "live" two-hour-call-in cooking show. After five years on the air, he moved from radio to WWL TV and began airing "In The Kitchen with Frank Davis" in the three-hour morning news show. It's still attracting an immeasurable morning audience and pulling unbelievable rating points. |

Frank wrote his first cookbook, "The Frank Davis Seafood Notebook," in 1983. His second one, "Frank Davis Cooks Naturally N'Awlins," came along in 1990. They both achieved "best-seller" status rapidly. His next creation was "Frank Davis Cooks Cajun, Creole, and Crescent City." It, too, became one of the fastest selling cookbooks in the country! All three are published by Pelican Publishing Company and can be ordered directly from this Web site. He recently released a brand new fishing guidebook, entitled "The Fisherman's Tacklebox Bible". And "FRANK DAVIS MAKES GOOD GROCERIES--A NEW ORLEANS COOKBOOK" was released just a few weeks ago. |

When he's not writing fishing guides and cookbooks or doing local and network television shows, Frank teaches cooking for major corporations; lectures on cooking techniques at several universities; stages cooking shows all over the South; makes personal speaking appearances, and conducts private and corporate cooking classes. Frank has represented such companies as Proctor & Gamble, Certified Angus Beef, Logan Farms, Forever Cookware, and many other notable brands. About forty years ago, Frank also formulated and developed his own brand of New Orleans pre-blended gourmet seasonings to help busy cooks turn out great meals in less time. There are presently 16 products in the line, which are all available at Dorignac's Supermarket in Metairie and at all 30 Rouses Stores across Southeast Louisiana. They can also be obtained through specialty shops and independent grocerys (you can see the complete list by clicking the RETAIL icon on the home page on this website) and by direct mail. The seasonings, as well as all of his cookbooks can be ordered securely from this website. |
